Oboe Reeds

My reeds are best suited to advanced students looking for a reed with more stability, and a deeper sound. They are as close to identical to the reeds that I perform on as possible, and therefore only made in one "strength"; medium hard.

Reeds are non-returnable, and non-refundable though I am happy to customize them to best fit your needs. My reeds are made entirely by hand from start to finish (once a piece of bamboo sitting on my desk at home!) and therefore can vary in response, resonance, etc. from day to day use. This is totally normal and should expected, just bring the reeds to your lesson and we can talk about any "sprucing up" they may need. Also expect that in most instances reeds need a "break in period" of a couple of days as they settle in.

Reeds are $15-$20 each. 

Keep in mind when requesting reeds from me that there will almost always be a short wait time of 1-2 weeks, please plan accordingly.

Cane

I prepare all of my cane from "scratch" using the highest quality cane and equipment. If you are interested in gouged cane or gouged, shaped and folded cane, please contact me by phone or email.
